BLM activist says teens have had “fights involving knives for eons” in anti-cop rant

High profile BLM activist Bree Newsome has been mocked after claiming that “teenagers have been having fights including fights involving knives for eons” during an anti-police Twitter rant, following the shooting of black teen Ma’Khia Bryant as she was lunging at somebody with a blade.

She went on to say: “We do not need police to address these situations by showing up to the scene & using a weapon against one of the teenagers. Y’all need help. I mean that sincerely.”

She claimed that people should be “We do not need police to address these situations by showing up to the scene & using a weapon against one of the teenagers. Y’all need help. I mean that sincerely.”

Newsome came to prominence in 2015 when she was arrested for removing a Confederate flag from a state house in South Carolina, and has continued her activism since.

Her comments received widespread mockery, with one person dubbing her “an extremist” and another saying that the officer in question “made a snap decision that saved the girl in pink.”

“Are you saying we should let teenagers stab each other to death?” asked one user, with another confirming that “knife fights weren’t a regular thing at my schools.”

Liberal comic Kathy Griffin also received mockery after saying: “Yes one of them has a knife. Oh, that never happened in your school or neighborhood? She didn’t deserve to die. 16 years old.”

One Twitter user replied to the pampered millionaire celeb, saying that “if a suspect was that close to stabbing you, your bodyguard would have shot her.”

“If I was on the other end of that knife, I would want police to stop her. Getting stabbed is no joke” said another.

This site reported earlier today on a sick tweet from NBA basketball star LeBron James, warning the cop responsible that he’s “next”. The post was slammed by a number of people, including top Republican Senator Tom Cotton, who accused James of “inciting violence against an Ohio police officer.”
