Biden slammed for smirking after question about trapped US citizens

US President Joe Biden has been slammed for a viral video clip in which he smirks at press reporters after they ask him about US citizens who may remain trapped in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan following his botched withdrawal of American troops – which could see regular airlifts out of the Islamist country stop at the end of the month.

He’s also been blasted for an inappropriate, jocular response to the very serious issue – telling a concerned report that “you’ll be the first person I call” if American citizens remain stranded under Taliban rule after August.

“SICK! When Biden’s asked what he’ll do if Americans are TRAPPED in Afghanistan after 8/31, he LAUGHS then his handlers cut off the audio” fumed former White House doctor Ronny Jackson, who served under both Barack Obama and Donald Trump. “This is all one big joke to him. THIS IS NOT FUNNY! He needs to RESIGN immediately!”

Jackson has previously questioned Biden’s mental competence, saying there is “something seriously wrong” with him and calling on the 78 year old Democrat to take cognitive tests.

“Pay attention to that smirk” said another concerned American voter. “Tells you everything you need to know about how he feels regarding Americans and our men in uniform.”

“And then randomly flips back and forth through his 5 page notebook like a school boy who is completely lost when called upon by the teacher” observed another user on the social media network Twitter.

It comes just days after Biden’s unpopular Vice President Kamala Harris, who was forced to withdraw from Democrat primaries in 2019 amid brutally pathetic poll ratings, was also filmed laughing when asked about the tragedy.

Biden’s poll numbers have also plummeted in the wake of the botched Afghan exit, with just 41% of Americans now approving of his performance according to a respected poll of US public opinion – compared to a whopping 55% who disapprove of his job performance.
